CHANCE ENCOUNTER

It's finally here! My first official credit as a costume designer (lol what is my life). I'm still trying to figure out what aspect of wardrobe styling I enjoy the most, and so far I'm sort of leaning towards film (though I'm totally open to other things). I had the pleasure of working with some hella talented people on this project. It was incredibly inspiring watching others so dedicated to their craft interact with each other; from the actors to the director and everyone else that made this film come to life.

Someone once asked me what I think I'm good at and I said making something out of nothing. When it comes to styling and designing that's where my passion is. Reading this script and creating Alex and Eli from scratch was so much fun for me. How many rings would Alex wear? Does Eli 2.0 wear chelsea boots or brogues? How would they interact with each other and how would the wardrobe be affected by them sitting, touching... arguing? It also helped that these actors were incredibly talented and watching them go from giggle fits to straight face when the director yelled "action" was PEAK professionalism. Anywho if you have like 10min to spare please do me a favour and watch this short. We spent two dope days with each other but I feel like I made some lifetime connections with some beautiful souls.
